Targeted reading support is provided through structured intervention sessions designed to help learners build confidence, fluency and comprehension skills. 

The intervention is based on the Read Write Inc. Fresh Start programme. This is a structured and evidence-based approach aimed at older learners who need additional support with reading. It focuses on phonics, reading accuracy, and helping learners make accelerated progress. 

Aims and Outcomes: 

• Improve reading accuracy and fluency 

• Develop confidence and independence in reading  

• Support learners to access wider curriculum
